So as many of you already know, myself, @nzmetal and @ddye (aka CounterPlot) have been working on self-producing a full album of our songs over the course of the last year-ish or so.
Since the process of completing said album is going to take some time, we decided to start releasing some of the completed songs to streaming services as singles. Today was an exciting day for us as we officially released our first one
We re-mixed two of our songs- Time Bomb and The Queen. We always knew we wanted Time Bomb to be our first single. These were written with the intention to be played back to back almost like one song. Through the process of mixing them again, we were finally able to edit them so that they play seamlessly together. This makes me happier than it probably should
Iâm very happy with the new versions! Though they likely wonât sound hugely different to anyone else but the three of us, we are excited to share them with you all. The original feedback we got from many here was hugely helpful!

Congratulations, I felt the excitement when I saw New Single by Counterplot in Spotify. I can only imagine how excited you all are. Canât wait for the album to be complete.

Thank you so much everyone! As @Jenndye429 said, putting the songs together has been a big focus for us for nearly a year. It feels awesome to see a couple of them out there for people to hear.
I give a ton of credit to this community for us getting to this point, and for whatever follows in our journey in music. So thanks to everyone! I know we have been inspired by what other people are doing, and itâs great to hear that we do the same for others.
Congrats!..a milestone that is not for everyone! I much admire your abilities in creating all this and I canât imagine how much time and dedication you all in the band put into it! Keep rocking

Thanks JK! Itâs cool having songs out there for people to discover. I know there are some other community members with songs on various streaming platforms, but not sure how many. Would be fun to know!
