I’m disappointed Tosh …
Come on … volume at 11 !!
haha, i just saw that scene from Spinal tap today! family was telling me to keep the noise down. sheesh!
Hi Tosh!
Happy NGD!!! I’m convinced that the Epi SG sounds every bit as good as the Gibson version… played them side by side at a Guitar Center last year - the Gibson pickups were slightly hotter but not a noticeable difference in tone to my ears… great choice!!!
Good job playing TNT also… it’s a good rocker!!!
Have funRocking Out!!
Tod
Enjoy the new axe, Tosh, and loved the tone, steady riffing there plus some neat muting.
TNT. Tosh Nails Tone. Have you tried some Folsom blues boomchuckaboom on that SG?
Happy NGD Tosh!
You’ve got quite an impressive ‘stable’ now… Congrats!
This motivated me to play around for an hour or two on my Pod Go looking for ‘filthy tones’-
Result!
Thank you
Hey Tosh,
Got to love that guitar, which looks like an SG to me. Good play, a bit repetitive though.
You need to invest in at least one more item mate. A “load box”. Per this link. You plug you amp’s speaker feed into it. It takes that signal and puts a load on it simulating the load a speaker would place on the amp. The output of the load box then goes into your AI. It is quiet as a mouse, but your amp will be screaming at top volume if that is what you want. Your plucking the strings will make more noise. It is pretty cool and pretty simple. If your amp has a speaker out jack, it is very simple to connect. If not, one has to intercept the speaker wire and direct it into the load box. I have had both types of amps and both work as well. Just a little more involved to connect the non-speaker jack amp. If you have to wire your speaker to connect, be careful and ensure the wiring is correct, prior to lighting the thing off. The entire load of the amp needs to go someplace and in this case it would be the load box.
Take good care,
LB
