Tomorrow

An original that addresses the anxiety many of us are feeling this November.

Bravo Jay.
That was hugely impressive and powerful.
I especially liked the rising melody in the 2nd line of your verses and the way you did not rush the 4th lines to keep a corresponding meter in the poetry, rather extending the 4th lines’ duration and increasing its gravitas.
I am sure you wrestled with the lyrics, walking a fine line between too obvious and too veiled in a political song. I think you did that consistently well.
Mrs C sitting next to me was humming along in harmony and commented positively on the vocal and melody. She likened ot to a song in the folj tradition.

Marvellous:)

Wow! Thanks, Richard for the kind comment.

Well played: well written; your vocal style reminded me off Feargal Sharkey. Fantastic song.

I’m not anxious (but not complacent!). Che sera, sera…
But that’s a great song.
I love it when folk write music about topical events
Bravo!

Sounded good to me. Felt like you had to get something off your chest. I guess that you and/or your friend are acknowledging that we live in an oligarchy. Curious, how do you feel after singing it?
