I’m trying to transcribe Disarm by Smashing Pumpkins into a fingerstyle arrangement. I have the basic melody figured out for the most part which is completely on one string in standard tuning! However on that song there is also a tubular bells sound and perhaps cello? So I’m trying to figure out how I can add those more subtle sounds in without it not sounding like the song. Or should I perhaps maybe just make some sort of backing track that will work with what I have?
