Travel guitar

Hi Folks - just come back from a trip and I took a new ‘toy’, a Blackstar Carry-on ST. It’s a reasonably inexpensive short scale solid body guitar.
Crucially it has a bolt on neck, so I took it apart to travel and it fits in a regular rucksac with ease.
Their are a few downsides - the scale length is 20.7 inches so the fretboard feels a bit cramped, especially once you get past the 5th fret or so. It is a bit neck heavy, so the neck wants to drop and it’s a very small body (I play standing up, so this works for me). Finally you’ll need a screwdriver to put it together and dismantle before you fly, and you can’t take a screwdriver in carry on baggage (I think). So you either need some check in baggage or you’ll need to borrow a tool at your destination.
However, it does play well has a good sound and I was able to keep up my practice while away.

Never would have thought of taking the neck of. Good thinking.
I usually take a ukulele or one of these fretboard practice tools.
