A moment in time.
4 musicians who had never played together sat down and jammed 3 songs. I was fortunate to get footage from one of those three songs. That’s pretty cool.
The second cool part was that this was at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. I took a group of 20 students there that are or were part of my Social History of Rock and Roll class that I teach.
Most rewarding for me was in this clip is one of my students, who has far superior guitar schools than I, whom I was able to jam with for the first time. This likely won’t be the last. This video doesn’t demonstrate his skills very well but trust me. Ha
The house band at the rock hall was great. The guitar player sat out for our impromptu set, the drummer was great and very adaptive, in addition to the bass player adding some nice melody to my vocals. We took a minute to mesh that but the 2nd half had much better vocal harmonies.
In addition to all of the students that I brought with me, it felt like the eyes of the entire clientele of the museum were on us and cheering us on. This will be a cool memory for me that I wanted to share. Have a great day all and ROCK ON ![]()
