Hello community!
I had a great gig last night with a really cool pub venue with a neat backdrop! The glass exhibit behind me has visibility to the brewing station.
The crowd was very responsive throughout the evening, and it was a clean gig!
I hope that you all like my rendition of this wonderful Josh Turner song. Happy November!

Perhaps your best performance yet - certainly of the ones I’ve seen / heard. Your voice is so much more colourful the less forced it is. The occssional hint of a snarl in your delivery adds further variations (rather than being a constant, monotony). Really tidy guitar accompaniment too.
Enjoyed it. Encore!

Thank you @DeltaTyne !! I worked really hard to get to the point I’m at. I still have a ton to learn, and I’m still cleaning up mistakes left and right as I go.
I hope that anybody here who has playing live as a goal is able to do so!
Thank you for your feedback @beejay56 !! I think a lot of it is just getting more comfortable at playing guitar/singing at the same time. I’m noticing that my vocal ability is improving along with my guitar now, so that is exciting to see and experience!
Vocally, I’m noticing more control over the gravel as a melody of sorts, but, turning it into velvet upon demand is kinda what I’m trying to pursue next. Easier said than done. Ha!
Thanks for listening. Rock on
Hey Travis,
Very much enjoyed that one! I echo the comment above in that this might be my favourite from you so far.

Thank you @Charlie_James !! I’m glad that you liked long black train.
I’ll post another clip that I have from the same gig. This one was tricky because I had a drunk lady dancing in front of me being kind of loud through most of the song. I mean, I’m glad that she liked this tune, but it was pretty hard to “stay on task” for this one!
Hah - well, yes, I can see that would be distracting to say the least.
It was distracting watching it, never mind playing it.
At the same time - she was clearly touched and inspired by the music - so I think take it as a well deserved compliment.
