Scripts are great in many types of programming and program use. I have not used reaper but I have a number of scripts I made for myself for Adobe Lightroom to make batch RAW Image changes much easier in my work workflow. It is very helpful when doing outdoor photography.
For instance when the weather is the same I can batch change all the photos in a large set of maybe 300-400 with the same general settings and even give them the same EXIF and METS data. That would just take days before. Then the minor changes can be made on an individual bases later time.
