Kicking off with the Isle of Wight this weekend there’s some very good lineups overall across the board, looking forward to Green Day on Sunday (obvs 
) but also hoping to find coverage of the Suede set tomorrow. Anyone going?

Green Day are great. I saw them in 2022.

I did the same when Green Day played two festivals here in Germany two weeks ago, “Rock am Ring” and “Rock im Park”.
I enjoyed a livestream of the awesome gig in front of the TV on my cozy couch and had a much better view than I would have had standing in the crowd for hours on a muddy festival ground one mile away from the stage

We’re lucky in that all the “big” festivals have good HD tv coverage and I admit I’m usually glued to all of them! In the last few years since playing and learning it’s hugely fun to watch these musicians not only play but perform. Prodigy headlining tonight for a revisit to my student days!

Well, it seems that I’m the lucky one who saw Green Day live recently (to be more accurate: 8 days ago at the Nova Rock Festival here in Austria) 
. It was a great show . My personal highlight was the moment when Billy invited a guy from the audience to enter the stage to play Good Riddance on the guitar 
. The young man was in seventh heaven, smiling from one ear to the other. This was definitely the time of his live 
.
Meanwhile, I’ve started practicing this song - just in case .

It was a damn good set Toby, I don’t know the name of the guy fronting them now but he lived up to the energy and style of Keith superbly. Check out some of the set on YT, it’s impressive and definitely took me back!!
I passed the masses on their way to Glastonbury this morning whilst walking through London Paddington station this morning, pretty chaotic!
