Van Morrison’s Brown Eyed Girl - historical background

This is a popular song for many Grade 1 beginners, including me. I wasn’t looking at Google for this but it came up with this option, as it does.

Makes for interesting reading including some musical information (which I didn’t understand) also the guitars that were used.

Hope this is of interesting to some of you.

Interesting read. The original version has always sounded a little composed to me, like the intro and the fills may not have been part of the original concept. Funny how a studio musician’s part can be so instantly recognizable. I think it is a testament to just how actually musical and tuned in to the song they were.
