Vintage Club #37 with Richard | Fingerstyle with Steady, Alternating Thumb continued

Hello folks.

Fingerstyle continued - developing the steady, alternating thumb.

This session builds on the learning and practice in Vintage Club #35 so please make sure you have viewed that session - recording here - and used the corresponding resources - here.

We will focus on various picking patterns to continue building muscle memory and train our thumb and fingers to work independently.

Link please, I didn’t get an email… thank you

There’s a link on the JustinGuitar home page. A nice addition in the new web design.

Thank you

Hello Richard and JG team @FannyJustinGuitar , thank you for another great club. I really like finger style and I managed to follow up quite easily right until the end. But I will still watch the after recording and do it again, just for the practice sake.

I think that this is now the second time I didn’t get an email with the link. I got the confirmation email just after I signed-up for the club:
We’ll email you the stream link closer to the event date! Or, when it’s time, just head to the JustinGuitar Clubs page and click ‘Attend’ to join. We can’t wait to see you there!

I also didn’t find the Attend button/link on the JG Clubs page.

Anyhow, I managed to connect on-time, thank you @jjw
After John’s reply I also found the link in the JG home page, which I think is great.

Still perhaps it would be useful to check what is going on with the emails not getting out.

Wish you a great :guitar: :guitar: :guitar: day everybody!

Will there be a recording of this lesson posted here on the forum, like for the other lessons?

Just wanted to say a big thank you for this and #35, they are a great resource. I’m only on Grade 2, all be it for quite a while, but the way this and the previous finger style session build up enabled me to progress through the sequences with relative ease. Really looking forward to the third of the series.

@chuntybunt Welcome to the Community Mike and thank you for the kind words and appreciation. The fact you say you could follow along step by step whilst being a grade 2 student means I have met one of my aims and its very satisfying to know that it was accessible.
Cheers
Richard
