Wanted: co-writer of a song

Jeepurs. I’m getting anxiety at the thought of it.

Generally speaking I’m very open to feedback and collaboration on musical direction but when it comes to lyrics, unless it remains true to what I feel the lyrics are saying, I couldn’t sing them and believe them.

To find a visionary on exactly the same wavelength emotionally and creatively is rare, but what is rare can be wonderful. Of course, depending on the genre that rigidity might change.

I only have a couple of people that I could discuss creatively with. I really hope you find your guy/gal. Best of luck @LievenDV

Haha, Richard, you of all people should know better than to start a ‘bad taste blues dump’ on someone else’s thread
As penance, you should be forced to write a song containing all the suggested lyrics (maybe even in three different styles) :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Hi Lieven.

This was such an interesting conversation I had to reply. Your skill level is far superior to mine and I see you have an infinite number of replies expressing interest. That said I was wondering if you would be willing to give honest and open feedback to a song I wrote recently. The song is about fighting through another stressful and sometimes hopeless day and finding away to keep on going anyways. I’m still working on my first song and wanted to do one since I was about 16 with no success. I think it’s the next step up from infinite number of cover songs. By the way, I’m still planning on doing “het is een nacht”, still working through it.

Have a good day

Jeff

Hey Lieven
My apologies for dumping my ‘bad taste blues’ lyrics on your thread.
But you see it was him - @Richard_close2u - the devil in me couldn’t help but but respond to his ditty. :flushed:
Anyway…Brian has forced him into a penance, so we can all look forward to that!
