Watching on Vimeo

I managed to watch it. It’s fine for me now.

Renan, respectfully: You’ve complained in several places about the platform Justin has successfully used for years to deliver free content to users. You’re implying he should change…because it doesn’t work for you. I played about half of the video you posted, and viewed it just fine. I wonder if the issue isn’t on your side… I hope you’re able to find out what’s slowing things down for you!

I think I need to refresh the page and play at 1080p. That’s working now. Tomorrow I’ll clean the browser’s cache, cookies etc to see if it changes it.

Edit: alright this topic is ā€œtoo muchā€, but here’s my feedback: it’s not working properly for me.

Could it be that you have a poor Internet connection? I’ve never had a problem with Vimeo.

Maybe but the internet is working fine, I can watch 4K videos no problem on YT (as a lot of people can).

Here are my tip if someone need help: refresh the page and set the video at 1080p. Careful messing with the playback bar.

What often works for me (i’m on Linux though, not windows): use a different, clean browser (no add-ons, etc).
Nothing else running in the background that needs a lot of cpu or ram.
Nothing else running in the background that needs a lot of gpu.
Sometimes, using a vpn can help too.
How many machines are online and running on your lan, when your speed goes down?
Also, the isp you have can either throttle your speed, or, as is in the case where i live, when there are a lot people online, the speed slows down.
That’s solved these days when i switched to fiber and a different provider.
There are many things to consider when you notice you have a slow/poor connection and video’s, that need a reliable speed, don’t play well.

That could well be the reason as I understand that YouTube videos are heavily compressed whereas Vimeo videos are not.

Watch what?

A number of Justin’s lesson videos is hosted on YouTube, others on Vimeo.

@Richard_close2u @Silvia80 it might be worth archiving this topic now as the OP’s issues have been resolved and the updated first post makes it difficult to follow what the issue was in they were experiencing.
