When playing electric guitar do you use strap even at home?

Unfortunately I can’t easily get those bottles where I am.

I ended up getting Dunlop 7036 Guitar Lock Strap.

I normally prefer hardware locking strap buttons like the Dunlop Straplok, but these usually require the original strap button screw hole to be drilled a little deeper, and I don’t have the tools to do that.

The 7036s will do, although I was warned in the shop where I bought them that they are really designed for acoustic guitar.

Cheers,

Keith

I always wear the strap. I mainly prefer to stand up while playing so that’s an easy decision for me

I’ve got Schaller S-Locks and a DR “buttersoft” strap. It’s pretty comfortable.

Straps help ‘ground’ me to the guitar - and I like that, a lot (feels kinda like a friendly hug). But they also get caught up on things. Since I play indoors, sitting down, I’ve found wearing a strap to be an unnecessary distraction - one less thing to worry about and less chance of banging my baby. But I do keep one in each case - ya just never know!
