I’m still trying to churn out an original song per month. Here’s this month’s…
Lyrics (approximately!)
Love me
Love me
Drowning in the years
Drowning in my fears
Help me
Help me
Blemishes and pain
Need to go again
Will you take me home?
Will you still be there for me?
Will you be waiting whne tomorrow comes?
Ever since I was born
Trying to be the best of me
Will you remember when tomorrow comes?
Free me
Free me
I need to be at peace
Time for a sweet release
Kill me
Kill me
How long will this go on
I’m nearer dusk than dawn
Will you take me home?
Will you still be there for me?
Will you be waiting whne tomorrow comes?
Ever since I was born
Trying to be the best of me
Will you remember when tomorrow comes?
Only one observation is: you can sing nicely in tune, with such electric guitar accompainement, which I liked much, you might try to dare a bit more on the vocals…just imho …I hope my honest point of view won’t be distressing you!..because really, you did a great job!
I would really like if you could write the Lyrics as well, so that I would be able to understand more.
Hi @Silvia80. Thanks for listening! And huge thanks for the feedback. I think I need to stop trying to record vocals when my kidsaresleeping in the next room - I end up scaredof being too loud!
I’ve added the lyrics to my origianl post. It’s basically about a documentary I watched years ago that Terry Pratchett made about assissted suicide, coupled with my aging grandmother repeatedly telling me that she was “ready to go”. I promise to write a cheerier song next time!
