I’m struggling with Louie Louie i module 3.
Which strumming pattern am I expected to use?
What @MacOneill says is correct although it’s worth remembering the app is only suggesting a pattern to get you started, once you can play that you might want to experiment some more in order to sound more like the original recording

Hi Leif, When I used the app and I had questions on a module or song, it was always fun to check out the corresponding lesson on the web. For the modules - sometimes the written info on the web helped me. For song lessons, I’d be sure lesson was in the same grade as I was working on. So, in the Louie Louie song lesson (Grade 1 - hooray!), Justin describes a couple of options. It’s fun to try easier ones first, then add complexity - keeps things interesting. You can play along with the app using your option of choice!

Thanks, to check out the corresponding lesson on the web was a good tip.
Just to let you know, I’m redoing the lessons from the start after having already completed Grades 1 and 2, and I actually struggled with that one initially too.
It really came out of left field as it’s far faster and has way more chord changes than anything else throughout that entire grade. So definitely don’t feel bad.
I would suggest anyone else reading this to either slow the bpm way down or just do down strums on the chord changes (or just skip it for now), I’m frankly surprised that song is introduced so early compared to the other ones.
