Whilst not AI, a couple of years ago, before I had my cataract surgery, I was having trouble reading subtitles on the TV. Because my short vision was ok, I found I could point my smartphone at the TV and zoom in with the camera feature, and was able to see the film and read the text, no problem.
I wondered at the time why ‘digital glasses’ weren’t widely available, where you just look at the image of your surroundings on your glasses. I’m sure they must exist…

Morning, James, feels like a long time since we ‘communicated’ 
Over the years, I’ve had a number of novel, commercial ideas for businesses that there is a market for.
The problem with each and every one of them was that they would require quite a bit of time and effort to get up and running.
Well, you know me and my penchant for leisure pursuits…

@brianlarsen I hear that. I’ve come up with a few grand ideas over the years, and whenever I checked online, someone beat me to it. I do have a very ‘inventive’ bro-in-law however, with a master’s degree in I. D. O. C. who invented a novel kind of mask during covid that kept all outside air from penetrating it. Only drawback was, it sucked onto his face so tight he couldn’t breathe and almost passed out before he got it off.
