Definitely finding this the most challenging of the grade4 songs sp far, I’m trying to transcribe a lot of the chord changes but the pre chorus and chorus seem tricky in terms of timing for what seems a relatively simple progression, is it just me ?

Hi Gavin,

It’s not just you. This song is more difficult than it first sounds.

The chord changes in this song are often syncopated, which means they are happening in between the beats. For example, the first G chord comes in on the “and” of beat 4. There are more syncopated chord changes in the chorus.

Watch Justin’s video a few more times and listen to his advice. Stick with it and I’m sure you’ll get it eventually.
