Question for those who have Yellow Submarine as part of their repertoire. Assuming you dont have a trumpet player handy, what do you play after the part that goes " and the band begins to play".

It doesnt sound right going straight into the chorus so I usually go a bar of D and a bar of G.

Wondering what others do?
