That was great Eddie! Very talented to be able to come up with something like that in 10minutes. Nice playing and vocals as usual mate… awesome stuff.
Cheers Sandro. Always appreciate your feedback and support! Thanks for checking this one out!
Great song Eddie! I love the repeating chord progression, with implied emphasis on beats 2 and 4 - it reinforces the regular pattern that rain can have when it settles in. Also, because maybe you’re on a porch, the rocking back and forth of a chair.
Will you develop the arrangement of this further? I’m hearing a higher vocal harmony part on the chorus, and maybe a middle solo piano or e-guitar centred around a single note to reinforce the D note appearing in each chord of the progression.
Thanks Andrew. I hadn’t really given much thought to developing it further but I will give in some consideration. Thanks so much for checking it out and I appreciate your feedback!
It’s a moderator function, it only takes a moment so no biggie.
Fabulous work Eddie! 10 minutes, what a show-off you are. So impressive that you just sat watching the rain and it inspired such a great original.
Nice work with the stuck chords as well.
Thank you Stefan. Believe me inspiration like that doesn’t strike me very often. Appreciate the listen as always!
