James @Socio
Thanks that sounds like a ‘cunning’ plan.
Michael
Thanks Stephen! I’m looking forward to your new projects, both of you have a great feel to create covers with their very own character. I like the way “how” you are covering, in a very delicate balance to the original. Just wonderful!
post where you want but as socio said , just post a link here toward your song
Nice sounding and great job! Maybe one of the nicer productions you have done!
Merry Christmas!

If anybody is interested this is a link to a couple of Christmas songs in AVOYP.

That was nicely played and sung Jason! Merry Christmas to you and your family
Thank you Stephen, I must admit the original Lyrics are a bit difficult to me, so I was happy to find this version to enjoy with the children.
Your recording is simply faboulous…the vocals are just so …perfect! I can’t find any other word! Thanks for sharing it, I much enjoyed the listening!
Thank you Boris for your contribution, I much enjoyed listening to your recording, it was an awesome production too with all the parts together. I was full of admiration at the beginning while you were picking those individual notes out of the strumming in a natural and smooth way. Thanks again for sharing!
Thank you so much for listening and your kind comment LBro! See…I’m learning to use the whole screen (almost )! Merry Christmas to you and your family
My excuse for this lateness of this submission: I had a couple of gigs in December (one bass, and an open mic for my mate’s birthday), so they took priority. I learned White Christmas on the piano for the open mic, so thought I’d give it a go on guitar. Hence a bit of a “quick learn and knock it out in a lunch break on Christmas Eve” type performance in order to meet the “it would be a bit odd posting it in January” deadline .
I’ve not done the “how to play Cm chord” lesson, so I’ve no idea if there is an easier way to play it than I did.
I had fun learning, arranging and recording it though.
Thank you very much Silvia. I had a lot of fun making this, a proper mini project. Merry Christmas and happy new year!
Thank you, everyone is so nice and supportive. Its such a rare and a great gift. Please have a wonderful and safe christmas to you and your family as well.
Merry Christmas to whom it may concern
I took White Christmas, arranged by Sky Guitar (https://youtu.be/39NRTomM-rE?si=tFTf8R0tXfw5FBTc), and then replaced all the notes, that are not a part of either melody or bass line or chords, with harmonics.
thats the perfect melody for chilling while drinking a glass of wine
Such a nice rendition. I dig the harmonics. Looks like you are plucking the string with the hand you are doing the harmonics with? Thats cool. I think Justins lesson on the police song “Cant stand losing you” is the one that he shows this technique. Very very neat technique.
Thank you. It’s called "artificial harmonics ".
This is so beautiful!
Hi Deborah @MacOneill this is such a lovely thread! Here is my contribution - an old German Christmas song, with its own Wikipedia page: Leise rieselt der Schnee - Wikipedia
Had to dust it off first and practise the Am to Dm change … then had to sort out the dead batteries in my pickup … but hey Christmas period runs till 6th of Jan, doesn’t it?
What a beautiful song Molly. Really well played and sung.
