I haven’t posted a recording in a year though I kept telling myself I ought to. Now I’m in Grade 2 Consolidation and I wasn’t planning on recording today but tried for the heck of it and thought it wasn’t half bad for a cheap Galaxy phone and my PRS with new strings (that I don’t like, lol). So, though I personally am not exactly dressed for the stage, it’s the sound that’s most important anyway.
This is probably my best song of all the ones I’m learning as campfire songs.
I personally appreciate it’s just you and your guitar. There’s no hiding. It’s all you, or me when I do it.
You are making the music. Not a back track that your following. To me, doing it by yourself is much more difficult I think. You did well.
To me, that song is kinda driving. It just keeps on moving. You got that feeling across.
I like that guitar ya got too. p90’s? I must be down with p90’s. I got 2 guitars, one has 2 p90’s, the other is p90 neck, humbucker bridge. I likely play the 2 p90 guitar most…
What’s wrong with your new strings?
I think ya look like yer dressed for the stage to me… At least yer not in your jammies. I won’t say who has posted a song or 2 wearing that…
I also didn’t know ya had to have a hat. imho, no hat is fine.
All that said,
Nice playing and singing. Bad Moon Rising is one of my favourite songs by CCR, I still like to look it up on YT, especially a concert version.
I think you did a great job including the song in your repertoire.
Hi Rebecca,
Your voice is great here,Powerfull … where is that campfire, you would be the star of the evening…played very well at a good tempo and it goes in a great flow…despite the quality of the sound id what you play is absolutely amazing and I’m dying to have heard this even during the day on the beach …
BIS BIS BIS
Please don`t wait a year from now on
What a treat during breakfast, my wife also noticed the good singing… and that’s saying something here in the house
Being with a strong strum and a strong voice gives shrinking violets like me the courage to sing along on the beach. “Campfires are you”
Plus, who doesn’t like hearing songs of their youth? Great choice.
That was awesome! Just what I needed to cheer me up at the end of another long and tiring day at work. Don’t wait another year before you post the next video!
