To maintain a satisfying pace - because the course is immersive, intense and expects high levels of engagement and interaction with the learning materials (and your fellow students ideally) - you need, at an approximation, to be able to have as a minimum:
- between four and seven days per week when you can dedicate between 30 and 60 minutes per day to BLIM study, practice and play
- learned and become even a little familiar with pattern 1 of the A minor pentatonic
- developed a decent sense of playing rhythm and counting 8ths
- worked at alternating picking
- can play a simple chunka-chunka blues shuffle rhythm
- have an interest in at least some blues-based music - whether oldey-timey delta blues or modern rock-blues or something infused with blues-vibe.
