This looks like it could be one of the standards. The graphics is updated, the awsome red SG and t-shirt, all pointing to one direction.

Wow it all makes sense Boris ! I had to buy an orange Es-335 due to blues immersion GAS and will need a red SG because of RIM. Oh that was not the point of your post, oops I misunderstood ! just kidding !!!

You are right I can see that many of the latest songs could be into a RIM standards like War Pigs, Ozzy Osbourne, ZZ TOP, Black Cat, Skid Row

Buyer beware.

As a 335 clone owner (Gretsch and 2 Washburns) and an Black Gibson SG, I’d have to say that an LP is the ultimate rock tool . . … or my ASAT Teles

But they all work for the Blues and thus feed the Rock Blues that followed. Its not what you got but the way that you play it.

Watching with interest.

If BLIM (Blues Immersion) students are, collectively, known as BLIMmers …

Then RIM (Rock Immersion) students will be …

Oh my sweet holy mother of all outrages.
That’s just too much to contemplate.

Good I’m not having breakfast at the moment
Maybe another reason to abbreviate it as RIC (Rock Immersion Course) then?
ā€œRiccers/Rickersā€ sounds close to ā€œRockersā€
But I’m not a native speaker, so maybe you’ll find better options.

PS. Would be boring anyway if all the big courses will be called X…IM

Not to forget about SWIM (Song Writing Immersion) … :woman_swimming:

How about RIP? :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

… = Rock Immersion Project

Blimmers would be Rippers :sign_of_the_horns: :sign_of_the_horns: :sign_of_the_horns:

… associations would mostly be positive, I thought ( well until I thought about R.I.P. and Jack the…) But given that potentially many a power chord will be murdered and many a bend will be strangled along the way, how about?

I’m more suited for Metal IMmersion - then I could be a MIMER :joy:
(and yeah I know I took some liberties with my abbreviation)

Haha, SWIM would be great! Both - subject and name!
RIP sounds good too!

Haha, you mean - so the participants would be called ā€œArnoldsā€ or ā€œsecond techniciansā€ as a synonym to ā€œRi…rā€ ?
I didn’t know this one, sounds like it’s a fun thing to watch! Youtube will help me for sure.
