By no means my favourite song or my favourite cover but the Guns N Roses cover of Live and Let Die means that I can no longer listen to the original which just sounds dull and plodding to me now

If a Mod notices it, it is simply moved and placed in the same topic, no one is angry, no one is sad, and most people do not have such a memory that they know what was posted a year or more ago or saw it with all this fuss. or not many people care :sunglasses:

I love and am learning to play Behind Blue Eyes by The Who. To me no one could possibly cover it better, but Limp Bizkit comes pretty damn close.

And to stay in the spirit of things, I think Cash’s covers on his American Series are all fabulous. The brilliance or Cash and Rick Ruben combined. And from that . . . .

I think it was Metallica who did a cover of this all-time bluegrass classic called ‘Nothing Else Matters’, but I prefer the ‘original’ played by the band Iron Horse :upside_down_face::

Just kidding, folks! I know Metallica wrote the original and I love both bands and both versions of this song are great. :smiley:
