Crossroads (Cream ish version); Fast Shuffle in 'A'

Xroads was one of the standards we studied in Unit 1 Blues Immersion course

First and second solo choruses are a transcription of the Cream ones.
Third and Fourth is from John Mayer (played terribly by me!)
Fifth is an improv in an attempted Creamy style

Simply put that was Bloody Brilliant Phil. Need I say more. Well done fella.

Really cool performance Phil. I know how fast it is at that tempo. I just woke up and I feel dizzy watching your fingers :rofl::rofl:

To be honest, I was impressed by seeing the rhythm part at this tempo… And I’m just lost for word that you did the solos :exploding_head:

Awesome job Phil. So freshly transcribed you didn’t have time to put the pencil away

Yeah spotted that as well

And the eraser doesn’t look like it’s been used a lot.

Very sweetly played Phil, a lot of effort has gone into that, especially to play at the original tempo. Chappeau sir ! :sunglasses:

@Socio @math07 @mathsjunky @TheMadman_tobyjenner Thank you all, you’re very kind, but you clearly haven’t listened to hash of the John Mayer solo choruses  it was just slightly beyond my reach, but I recorded it anyway!

@mathsjunky I think the word for what I do is “transcribbling”

I get now why it took time to put this together. Solos, improv, rhythm, all at full speed and very smooth. Brilliant playing Phil, this is just another level and a big inspiration!

Well played, Phil, :+1:t2:, especially your soloing, all of which was sounding pretty good through my headphones. … :ok_hand::clap::clap:

Terrific stuff Phil, sounded more Cream than Cream-ish to me and clearly a load of time and effort has gone into this one. The sky’s the limit as to what you’ll be producing by the end of your Blim course!
Well done.

@Boris1565 @BigLuc @Willsie @Elixir1253 @CATMAN62 @sairfingers @Avalon426 @roger_holland @Kate_South Thank you all for taking the time to listen to my somewhat sloppy playing. I’ll pick something a bit slower and try to be more accurate next time
