Hmmm well maybe it is cause my message I see in white. I wonder if messages from now on will show correctly?
EDIT: Oh man really weird, some of the text is white and some not.

There are two boxes for setting colour scheme with various settings. What’s your recommendation for dark mode?
This is what it looks like for me. I would love to have white text on black background. Is that what it should be?
In order for me to read the blue text on black background, I have to turn up my screen brightness to maximum, which seems to be defeating the purpose of a dark mode.

I have been seeing occasions when dark mode gives me the dark blue on dark gray, same as mentioned above here.
This only occasionally and I notice it after after I dive into a search result. I do not notice this on current topics, so I am wonder if something triggers this on an older topic.
My browser is Safari with desktop mode being set to dark. If I set the desktop mode back to light, I get white text. Of course, at that point, I’d want to set the web site to light mode to avoid the extreme contrast of the windows being light and the content being dark. This defeats the purpose of dark mode.
Can you see if there is a way to keep the text light enough to read on Safari with the desktop being set to dark mode? I do not know if the problem extends to other browsers. I think there is something you may be able to do because the text I am typing now is white.

Hi @sequences, I encounter the same problem sometimes. Simply reloading the page does the trick for me.

It happens for me quite a lot and ever since dark mode was ‘fixed’. I sometimes have to re-load 3 or 4 times to get white text.
iPhone and Safari.
