Hi all can anyone recommend a good guitar lead haven’t used mine for a while as I went wireless and when I did plug it in it was dead so need another to suppress hissing and crackling if poss.
I’ve been waiting for someone to buy that $500 cable…so?
I’m sure you can buying (something else ) with some of the replies in this post
Greetings
But if $500 that little bit toooooooo much. . . .
Stagg and Piranha mainly at the MMS. I’ve had some of the latter since the late 90s and they still do what they are designed for.
I’m also quite fond of Stagg, good quality for the price.
My go to cables are those from Kirlin.
They have plenty of options for instrument cables and patch cables with straight and right-angled jacks and different lengths.
I have a soft spot for the woven cables and the colours available in that range, my current set up consisting of all cables in blue
Sorry this doesn’t answer the question but there’s no way I’m going back to cables after living the wireless life for over a year now!
Nothing to see here
Sounds like ya need a new wireless system to me as don’t sound like ya like a cable mostly.
Sorry, I’ve no input for wireless. Many to choose from it seems though.
Myself, I just go down to the music store and buy a reasonable price cable and be done with it.
Other than that. I keep fixing my coily cable I’ve had since I don’t know when I got it. I’d get a replacement, but my coily cable is a tight wind, not real long when not stretched out. For how old it is, it amazes me it’s kept it’s tight wind. I’d get new, but can’t find anything with a tight wind like I got so I keep putting new ends on it. Actually only one end, the straight end has never needed a new jack for some reason. Only the 90* end keeps breaking.
Any chance you can fix your wireless that you like?
Other than that, you’ll find something new that you like I’m sure. Head of to your local music store and score one and be on to your next tune.
the wireless is a bit hissy and crackly sometimes just need a lead as back up really
