After many years of spinning my wheels and getting nowhere, I decided to finally get serious and follow a coherent plan. Had 3 years of formal lessons as a youngster, strummed for 10 years, then put the guitar in the closet.
Fast forward 40 years: Decided to pick up the guitar again. Took a few months of classical guitar lessons via Skype. But it was getting expensive, so I let it go. Then a few years ago I studied with the Classical Guitar Academy online for a year. Although it was an excellent program, I decided it wasn’t for me.
Then recently I was searching for tutorials on blues and fingerpicking and stumbled on Justin’s youtube channel. I’d watched some of his videos before, as well as a ton of other videos from many teachers.
I was really impressed with Justin’s approach and decided to look at his web site. When I saw all the goodies, I signed up pronto. So here I am. Started at grade 1 and now just into grade 3. I’m interested in blues, fingerstyle, folk, country, ballads.

I visited your country a few years ago. Went to Krakow for a week. Lovely. I especially like the historic center and the parks. Had a guided tour of the former ghetto.
