Hello World - a special NBD

Hello Lisa, I havenā€™t been active in the community for a while and now I have to realize that Iā€™ve missed the party. But better late than never - I want to congratulate you and your husband aus vollem Herzen to your cute baby son :bouquet::partying_face::hugs:.
Becoming a parent, a mother, is such a special and unique experience. And although itā€™s not always easy and even quite exhausting at times, itā€™s so precious.
I wish you and your family all the best :blush:!!

Thank you so much for your kind words and congratulations, Nicole! :smiley:

This is 100 % true. Even if nights are short or you have to feed the little one for the fifth time within one hour ( :rofl:), one cute little smile and all is forgiven and forgotten. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: We try to cherish every moment, time flies by so fast.

Lisa, most babies are highly resilient creatures and it is astounding how much they can tolerate without adverse consequencesā€¦ :rofl:

I took our firstborn downhill skiing on my back at five months :wink:

Accept any offer of childminding immediately!
ā€¦ and I mean ANY :rofl:

Good luck to you all :four_leaf_clover:

Lisa, this seems safer to me ā€¦ Nowadays I think you are kicked out of parenthood if you go down a hill with skis and a baby on your back :see_no_evil:(great photos though @brianlarsen )

I also volunteer to be a babysitter, a weekend is great if itā€™s too far to drive for 1 day.

Greetings and send you some extra of these :zzz: :zzz:

Hi Brian,

yeah, I basically know this, but still knowledge needs to be transferred to practice. :rofl: But probably a few more sleep-deprived weeks and diaper-changing fights from here, we will get there.

This is so cool! Thanks for sharing these lovely pictures! :smiley: I back out on the skiing, never did this before and being captain clumsy, I will probably break my old bones. :person_facepalming:

May I know the location of that statue please? :rofl:

Thank you Brian! :smiley:

Hi Rogier,

for the Baby probably yes, but not for my guitar. :scream: Being at ~ 5 kg now, I think I would need a Double Bass or at least a Cello. :rofl: That pic is so sweet though, I wish we had tried this when he was still so tiny. :sweat_smile:

By the way, some of the nowadays parents are way too careful and worried, it really is absurd to watch. :see_no_evil:

Be careful with your offers, I might come back at you! :smiley:

Thank you, Rogier! :slight_smile:

@LievenDV

Thanks for your congratulations, Lieven! :smiley:

Hopefully he will be happy to have some guitars around while growing up. On the other hand, he also might turn into a tech nerd if heā€™s more like his dad. :smiley:

@DarrellW

Thanks for your congratulations and kind words, Darrell! :smiley: At least for us, he is already a little heartbreaker having a smile that could steal your heart in the blink of an eye. :slight_smile: But being his mom I wouldnā€™t say anything else. :rofl:

@Beatup6String

Thanks for your congratulations and kind words, Ashu! :smiley: Heā€™s a little cuty pie, but see my comment above, Iā€™m a little biased. :joy:

We donā€™t have a guitar (yet) thatā€™s tiny enough. Maybe we should build one. :wink:
