I get a lot of pleasure from naming my guitars. My daily play is named: Racklesnatch. My custom built guitar is named: Lucky. My carbon fibre travel guitar is: Frodo. My silent guitar is: Charlie, my scrap-o-caster is: Road Kill.

BB had a very good reason for naming his guitars Lucille (there have been several Lucilles). Beyond a story like that, I personally don’t get the point of naming a guitar (it’s not going to come when you call it,) but to each his own.

your right.! Lucille came abut in an odd way. So many people do name their guitars.
