Heartbreaking. If you were a fan, you might like to read Billy Strings’ tribute to Bob today. Had the honor to see his last three shows, fittingly, where it all began 60 years ago in San Fran Golden Gate Park. https://www.reddit.com/r/gratefuldead/comments/1qa4d83/billy_strings_tribute_to_bobby/

Crazy. There is only one founder left now. Yes there are a couple of other who were members and key members at that. I was never a big dead fan. But my wife was huge, as her mother and aunt were card carrying tour followers and took my dear wife on tour when she was a small child. I remember how upset she was when Jerry died. I think when I told her yesterday about this she was expecting it somewhat.

This is one of my favorite songs of Wiers

Thank you for sharing this, Joshua :folded_hands:
I am shockingly ignorant regarding the music of the Dead, but I am pleased to see Dr. J Renkin is still alive and kicking :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:
You seemed to be on a similar unannounced sabbatical as yours truly
Welcome back!

Thank you for remembering me! And welcome back yourself! I have been lurking, just less involved.

You should listen to some of the Dead, they have had an influence here in the US and some of their music is quite inspired. Some is crap of course and some require you be stoned out of your gourd.

But such is life for those of us still here.
