Thank you so much Mal @Malz , Michael @mfeeney0110 , John @Willsie , Craig @CD02 , Pamela @pkboo3 , Robert @robijati and Steve @SteveElder for watching my video and liking it enough to leave a comment
I really appreciate it and it eggs me on to learn the next song and practise enough to take it to performance level!
As for the fingerpicking itself:
Robert, go for it, it’s fun and I’ll cheer you on!
Craig, thank you!! I am not going to lie, while it is not more difficult than other techniques, it needs more time to build the muscle memory. But with the right learning techniques (small bites, targeted practise, sleep to name just a few) it’s possible to learn something that at first attempt just seems to knot up my fingers and impossible to do. As Justin often says: just trust the process!
Thank you so much Pamela! Always appreciate your comments and so happy you like my post. Ever since I picked up my guitar again in 2021 I think I have spent 80% of my time playing fingerstile. And despite all the talk about targeted practise I think I noodle around as much as the next person
But referring to Justin’s recent video I think I have stacked up my legos in this area a lot, it wasn’t really planned, it just happened.
