Hi all,
I’ve just started using the app, and everything seems to be going well. I used the built in tuner, and completed everything in Grade 1, Module 1, except the D and A perfect segments. In there, I am playing the correct string/frets, and the indicated strings turn color and advance to the next, until I see 3/3 ‘great job’ and ‘you can redo or go on’ but when I choose to go on, and bounce back to the module layer, the Perfect D doesn’t get its green check ( or the A either ) so I end up with 14/16 for that module.
I know I can just proceed to the next module, but I was wondering if there is a know bug here, or if I’m doing something wrong.
I am having the same issue on the Android app, but just the D chord. I have finished the lesson maybe 5 times but it still does not mark it as complete.
Same issue here. Android. Thought I was just not getting perfect but requested 3 chords are good.
I know I am not ready to move on to next topic yet. Still working on speed
Thanks.
Hey all, brand new here. I’m having the same issue on ipad. The progression when I’m playing the individual strings on the D Chord is showing a clear note on each string, and I can complete the lesson, but it’s not checking off on my progress.
Edit: It’s also having the same issue with the A Chord. I’m stuck at 2/3 on both lessons. Not a huge issue, since you can just continue, but it’s driving my OCD crazy
Thanks Rogier @roger_holland, I’m almost never fully Kranky :D.
Just a quick update, the chord progression did complete when I did the perfect D & A lessons on my phone, so OCD is satisfied at the moment, lol. It doesn’t seem to be syncing from the phone to the iPad, however. When I go from iPad to phone, all of my progress is showing on the phone, just not vise verse. Is there maybe a setting, or a sync devices option I’m missing?
So, a bit of a solution. When I first installed the app, it was on my iPhone. When I jumped on my iPad, it had installed the app already. I just noticed that there were actually some differences between the two apps. I uninstalled the app from my iPad, and reinstalled it from the App Store.
The icon had changed, and the lessons were now the same as the phone. I lost some of the progress, but replaying the missing lessons is just more practice, right? The progress on the iPad is now syncing with the progress that was on my iPhone, and the A&D perfect chord progression has completed.
It seems that wherever the iPad grabbed the app from originally, had installed an older version of the app. I guess the morale of the story is, make sure you’re on the most current version of the software (I know! Everyone already knows this, but I’m old and I forget things )
