Hi Lisa,
You had the look of utmost concentration going there! Very well done indeed. I think about half way through you shifted into a new gear, were smoother and more confident. Time is your friend on guitar and your practice is paying off. Looking forward to more improvement in the future.
That was really good Lisa. When I learnt this I found that as I got better I paid more attention to the fretting hand and rarely looked at the strumming hand. I also found rolling the chords got easier when I played around with the angle of my picking hand. It was just a case of experimenting and finding what feels best.
Anyway, it’s quite the accomplishment. Well done.
Thanks a lot for taking your time to listen and provide some kind feedback, Steve. Highly appreciated!
Yes, that lift on the F-barre is a true challenge and my anatomy makes it a little more difficult as the string is lying right where my joint is. Experimented with different placements, but that makes the fretting hand feel uncomfortable. I guess, with more time and practice, it will work some day.
I’m sure you will also be able to master this one during grade 3 consolidation. Your hand will get stronger and more precise each day, so I’m convinced you’ll nail it (even without nails - no pun intended).
Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback, Peter! It’s highly appreciated!
I really don’t know why I look that much on my picking hand, it knows its job normally. But yeah, maybe it’s a true matter of confindence, thus requires some more practice. For the rolling, I also experimented a lot in the beginnings and think I now have my sweet spot. Might be due to overall tension while recording, what makes it look and feel a little odd.
