Hi. This is Susan. I live in Los Angeles and am looking for good in-person guitar lessons to supplement what I’m learning from Justin online.
Anyone have a good guitar teacher to recommend?

Go to your local guitar store and ask around,and sometimes they will have a board hanging up in store with flyers up looking for students.

Hi Susan,

The “School of Rock - LA” has several locations in Los Angeles. Have you checked with them? Most of the locations nationwide have decent ratings, above 4 out of 5 stars, and their instructors possibly do one-on-one lessons as a side job. Never hurts to ask. Best wishes on finding the right private teacher!

When I was looking for a teacher, I checked out Craigslist. That’s how I found one. I took lessons from him for a couple of years. I’m down in OC so my old teacher is too far away to recommend. Good luck.
