Always so impressed that you maintain your regular updates, Deborah.

How are you doing health wise?

updates are important for me

I can track my progress ( and so not feel frustrated about lack of progress )
I know that I ve been working on Halleluya since october same for karma police
My F barre chord started to be usable in a song in october too
Since then barre chords are a lot easier to learn ( Bm , F#m , B )
I started working on Legato lead in september and it seemed impossible to do , now Its still hard to do but I start being able to use it in a song

thats the kind of infos I like to know

Better
My physiotherapist works a lot on my neck and jaw so my muscles are not too stiff ( not too much )
as long as I can hold my guitar on my shoulder or have no pain in my wrist , I play

When I have a pain crisis I just dont play
Last week my jaw was killing me I could not play at all and 2 days ago I couldnt sleep at night so I decided not to play again …

I try to adapt my playing time to the pain

thanks a lot for asking

Glad to hear you have some effective support. Take care

I had some fun trying different songs on YS

Today I was listening to an american country music radio while I was working
They sure were singing a lot about whiskey and beer !!!

One was really the anti thesis of a love song
the lyrics said :
" New truck, big lift, old roads we’ve been
Tearin’ up since way back when
But these wheels are innocent
New hitch, new seats, no history
And you just can’t fake that, so let’s change that
Girl, let’s go put some miles on it
Back of the Chevy with the engine runnin’
Just you and me in a truck bed wide like a California King
We could break it in if you know what I mean
Put some miles on it
Back of the Chevy with the engine runnin’
Just you and me in a truck bed wide like a California King
We could break it in if you know what I mean "

I was like : :scream:
this is so not what a woman wanna hear

It feels like a song for the modern economy.
“Girl, neither you nor I can afford to live alone, but my work truck is bigger than a modern bedroom so it feels less like making do” :joy:

I mean, if it’s good enough for the teenagers…

" I wanna lay you down in a bed of roses " ==> Love song

" Let’s break in the new truck you see what I mean ! * wink wink * ==> NOT a love song

They both amount to the same thing - one just has better packaging :joy:

@MusopiaApps

I think there’s a bug in leather and lace by Stevie Nicks in the app

A chord description is missing : A7sus4
Its not shown how to play it
And the notes suddenly accelerate when playing and does not match the vocals and music anymore ( 1,36 min in the song )
Its impossible to play the song

Nice to see that progression between the two versions. Your new version has a more interesting strumming pattern to it but both are good and consistent :+1:

I found how to change from A to B barre chord , I just have to play A with my middle , ring and pinky fingers and then slide them to the fourth fret to form my barre chord
I anchor them

Went to my guitar lesson this morning

I asked him if he could help me learn " Go your own way " by Fleetwood mac
So this morning we started working on that song
ALL power chords … :sob:
Its a song with power chords and palm muting so basically its spot on for module 12 !

It will need lots of practice though
