we were 3 accoustic guitars , me and a drummer + 2 teachers
the young girl playing flute wasnt there today
the drummer had a hard time playing , she said that having only guitars was not helping her , she was missing the other instruments to play
we only worked on handbag and gladrags ( for 1h 30 )
the version we work in the workshop is a tad different from the app so Ill work on it this week
next workshop will be after the next ( and last ) holidays ( of the school year )
meaning there are only 2 group practice left for this year and after they will do a concert ( 28 june )
I wont participate Im way too afraid of my health issues
When i go out Im usually sick like a dog
at school there s only me and my teacher
In the group practice i start having headaches and feeling dizzy
a concert means too much stimulations ( lights , noise , movements ) for my poor body
Going to this school is the first social activity im having in 15 years … SO im already happy being able to go out a bit and of being able to play at least in a small group
and recording video at home is the best I can do to share my practice
This is what playing a musical instrument is all about. Making/playing music (with others) and then sharing it with others. Really happy for you that your health situation allows you at least to participate in a small group. Because at least for me, playing guitar (or any musical instrument) is great on so many levels, but there is no better feeling than playing with others.
yeah its really fun to go play with the other musicians of the school
thats too bad that there are workshops only after the holidays , thats not a lot
thats only 8 sessions a year
its not easy to play with others

I broke my favourite pick
it was a Tiger O.46 pick but because of Brexit this brand is not sold anymore in France
and I realised while practicing the 12 bars blues riff that it was exactly what I was playing on Riding with the king
I didnt know that when I picked that song on YS !
a lucky coincidence !
