I know the 5 shapes for the Am pentatonic scale and I try every evening to improvise a bit , trying to link the shapes , experimenting sounds !

I can play born under a bad sign but I keep practicing it to work my hand position and tension

I practice the slide technic on Yousician

Power chords are getting better but I still need practice , I tend to stop on the fret or near the fret too often , not smooth enough

I still do 1 or 2 mistakes when playing Before you accuse me with the app , just to annoy me

Getting better on Merry Christmas baby but D7 to C7 is still tough so need more practice

Finger gym is easy , I noticed that my pinky got stronger lately

I can play Everybody hurt at full speed but its not smooth enough for my ears

I went to my guitar lesson this morning

Only 2 sessions left and the schol year is over !
The weather is getting hot and I hate it

Also my injections in the jaws have no more effect so the pain is back
I can feel it in my arms and hands ( and jaws ) when I play
its gonna be difficult to play in the next weeks , my appointment is at the end of july

So today we worked on a new riff : Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Its a good exercise for my hand position and for the pinky
I found this one way harder than Black dog but maybe it was because of the pain

We worked again on power chords , he gave me tips / exercices to improve my accuracy

I played the 5 shapes of the Am pentatonic scale and he told me to try to play the notes of the 5 shapes string by string , its a way of linking them and to aim at the correct frets .

I noticed that I can play a G7 to C7 without looking now , its becoming automatic
and I play Everybody hurts without looking too
still making some mistakes , but without looking at my fingers

No guitar today cause I feel really sick
pain and cluster headache

The heat tires me too much and I become an easy prey for pain crises … its only june

Instead of playing I went to the local music school ( after taking my medication of course )
to watch one of the end of year concert
lots of little kids were doing their first concert , they did their best

some students ( adults ) and teachers stayed after the show to drink a beer or two and chat , it was great !

the only shadow on the day was that Marcus was overwhelmed by the load of work and forgot a kid … the parents were furious and yelled like crazy !
But I dont understand why the parents did not react when it was announced that there were only 3 performances left before the end … they should have realised that something was wrong and ask a teacher .
The kid is supposed to play at another concert later this month , I hope he ll be able to play
the parents were so furious … I fear that they just stop bringing him to school

I told Marcus that I would gladly help him next time
