Do you like to suffer ???
I usually wait inside ^^”

No but my water butts are running low, so yesterday at 17h00 in a cool 35c, I was transferring water from the butt in the driveway to the one at the corner of the west end of the house. I have 2 11lt/kg watering cans and the 300 lt butt was down 75% and 25m between the two !! So a good work out filling the lowest butt while topping the drive butt via a hose (no ban here). Just about keeping the plants alive.

Today I gave up trying to play after 30 minutes but always liked that Springsteen song and certainly apt for today’s temperature with a high of 38c. Finished watering at 23h00 tonight !!

Crazy days !

I gave up to play for days … it was impossible even with the AC on !
the weather is at last better after the massive storms with had last night
we had a few damages but nothing serious
I must admit I was scared … the storms were violent

Yeah same here. I ran around like a loony moving all our planter/barquettes from the front garden and courtyard under the cover of trees as both Orange and AXA issued hail warnings. The hail never came but I was surprised none of my trees came down.
My wife was videoing the scene from the front door across the courtyard and the trees at the edge of our land. The strength of the wind was the worst I’ve seen in our 15 years here, with some trees seeming to be bent double, whipping back and forth.
No playing this morning as the time was spent putting the plants and at a more leisurely pace than I moved them ahead of the storm. At least we are now back in the 20s for the next week, even if its high 20s at that. Fun and games !!

like a fool I did nothing
I took the storms way too lightly , by chance nothing was damaged !
but in my street there are lots of broken trees

same here
the little wood at the end of my street is a disaster
many trees have fallen or lost their tops because of the wind ( lightning too maybe )

had my lesson with my teacher today

we worked on my christmas song for the next community avoyp event
It s a Blues song and Im learning a lot from it

for example : doing a full bend on the high E string was not possible in fret 6 , too much tension in the string and I was not able to reach the right pitch so we moved the bend elsewhere on the neck ( fret 11 ) and now it works ^^

there’s always a solution !

I currently cant work / play in my music room so I cant record myself and send it to my teacher
it should be the next step for WT , I need him to assess my progress on the song

Is a magic number…says very old and ancient Iron Maiden follower !!

Embrace Le Numero Diablo Deborah.

It may be the Number Of The Beast but you are beasting it with your daily updates and progress !!

Does this mean the Christmas bump is now starting in July not August ?

I should have hit 666 one day later to match it with Ozzie’s death anniversary

the temperature dropped at 11°C last night , the house was cool enough today for me to play in my usual work room with my computer
So I decided to try a new software to record my practice
I just loved it
the sound of my guitar was way better than Toneroom ( Vox )
It was so good I thought it wasnt me playing …
I m tempted to buy the pro version now

the temperatures will rise again starting tomorrow so I wont be able to play with it more … too bad !
There ’s an app version for tablets but I d need to buy a special tool to plug the guitar
