Rinka - you need to know that for a first recording, in your first year of playing, with time off as you describe, that was a terrific and really enjoyable performance of a classic song. Bravo. Keep on keepinā on!

Sorry to hear about your woes. They do not seem to have impacted your playing, as that was beautifully played and sweetly sung. Iāve been trashing that song for getting on 3 decades and would not come close to your performance. That was delightful.

That is not an easy song to finger pick and sing along. I thought you did great, congratulations. I like how your pinkie looks completly straight all the time, ready to play. I canāt do that, even when I fully focus. It is always curled.

thank you, I realized how much I like playing when I picked up my guitar again. I think I should keep to my routine especially in chaotic times, instead of getting immobilized by life

Thank you I chose a moody song to match my mood. I learnt to sing and play at the same time when I was playing ukulele before, guitar was much more difficult for me even with my uku experience. Keep practicing is the key i think, I didnāt think I could ever play the F chord before!

I played ukulele before and intensively played while I was at it. My ukulele experience definitely helped a lot when learning guitar.
I hope in the future no matter what happens I will not stop playing again. I love guitar!

Life hit me hard right after I joined last year Iām glad I picked up my guitar again after all that.
Youāre too humble, the whole song has 5 basic chords in total, I donāt believe when you say ātrashingā it haha!

I never used my pinkie in playing, I try to get it out my way of plucking.
It was a finger picking pattern from Justinās lessons, give it a try 
Itās great that you are back at guitar after a break. I had been taking a break of about four months as well just recentlyā¦ so I can relate a lot to where you are coming from.
The things I noticed when I picked up playing again wereā¦ hey, I can still playā¦ and that returning to the community felt as if I had never been away. I agree the community is really a special place with kind and supportive people. Like you I had been letting (work) life get the better of me, so I guess I can understand quite well, how much recording and publishing the video means to you.
