I owned a Yamaha Pacifica 112v so wanted something complete,y different. Always loved Les Pauls as well they’re iconic aren’t they.
Went and looked at some Epiphones and the missus offered to buy me a Gibson, came home with this beauty

Don’t get me wrong it is heavy, but not ridiculous compared to my Yamaha Pacifica
I mostly play sitting down anyway though

I’ve had a 60s Standard LP for a couple of years and it still makes me smile when I pick it up to play.
I’ve been very happy using a KLIQ AirCell Strap to distribute the weight when standing (and sitting, too).
