I appreciate the chance to play again. I’m waiting to start working at the soccer game here. I feel a blues song coming out about the whoas in working with drunk soccer fans
Me too,
I want to thank everyone involved in the organisation!
I’m really glad I could take part and be here with you all!
@Lisa_S You did great as a host, and you seemed really at ease in this position! @philsmith you switched everything really smoothly!
And thank you everyone for the nice comments on my song!
I definitely enjoyed all the performances, except I missed most of the first and am looking forward to see/hear it in the recording (& I am 100% certain it was another wonderful performance, because it was @Alexeyd ) because I had to fix a few things right before playing myself.
Fabulous event, very well done to all the performers. I thought you all did great. Very entertaining and enjoyable evening. Super hosting, and smooth running from all the behind the scene people. Thank you.
I’m looking foward for the recording, even if I’ll probably “surf” among the performances
I’m sure Lisa @Lisa_S did an awesome job
Happy to read you guys had fun and enjoyed it…it’s such a great opportunity for all of us! Such a pity I can’t take part because of other life priorities.
Thank you to all the performers, behind the scenes helpers, our new host @Lisa_S and the audience!
This was another enjoyable OM, with a wide variety of genres, eras, techniques, instrumentals, vocals, harmonies… it was a privilege to share the stage with everyone! The after show chat was loads of fun, and I got some sage advice from @DavidP and @TheMadman_tobyjenner
Now it’s time to figure out what I can learn for the next one!
As an old UK TV ad used to say “it’s good to talk” After show chats are a real benefit of using Zoom as an OM platform. An opportunity to get to know folk a little better, beyond post or message exchanges in the platform. Enjoyed our post show banter and was great to finally have some face to face time - even if we had to endure @DavidP as well - just pulling your chain DP - was really good to catch up. I’d miss the whole OM for a bit of after show banter.
So sorry I didn’t make it in the end - weekends are usually just for family and as it happened, I was hanging with my daughter and helping her prep for a judo comp on Sunday. Sorry!
I’ll try to make time for the recording later and dip in!
No worries, Justin. Would have been great to have you join, sing us a song you’re the guitar man, but family first! Hope the comp went well for your daughter.
