I did put this in my comments but isn’t module 6 a bit late to learn the string names? Don’t you need to know that to tune the guitar with an app before you start?

I’m pretty sure I saw we were supposed to memorize them a few modules ago, but maybe that was on the song app? I was only using that for the free trial, I don’t remember, lol

in my language i can say stupid holiday lol eadgbe

Considering tabs especially, I was thinking the order of the strings you learn could also matter.
Do you think learning EBGDAE could be a tiny bit more beneficial than EADGBE?
As you look at the high E first in tabs.

Welcome to the forum Fabio. It really doesn’t matter how you learn the strings or what order you learn them in. The important thing is you learn the 4 string is D, 2 string is B etc.
It will become automatic once you’ve learnt their names. So if I said to you at a Jam play the C on the A string you should know it;s the 3 fret on the 5th string.

Okay, thank you. They did stick pretty easily.

However, since I’m EU and I want to be able to jam with others, I have made this (printable) cheatsheet to learn both notation systems at the same time.
Hope someone else can find it useful as well.
