Nice job Eddie,
I really like it and it had good structure. Your lyrics fit well and the chord sequences came together well. You should write more. For song ideas, just browse around the Internet and you will find plenty.
Thanks LB. Yea I don’t write that much and usually wait until something inspires me. Perhaps I should explore the internet for some ideas. I appreciate the listen and comment LB.
It’s quite interesting. Theres quite a lot to it. Not just the recording itself. I started with logic x pro but now i go to a professional studio and they charge £30 per hour. It takes roughly 3-4 hours to finish a song idea to get to Spotify level.
The tech guy i have is brilliant. What he does in seconds would take me all day if i did it myself. And it’s actually really fun the recording side in a proper studio. You feel like a rock star.
I use tunecore for distributing. It shares it to all channels- like YouTube/spotify,ect. But there’s a lot behind the scenes too. Including PPL uk and BMI. In registering songs and releases.
Thanks for the info Ali. You never know maybe one day I might decide to go for it. I don’t have any fancy recording equipment so for now I am happy to just bang out some tunes sitting on the porch and recording with my iPad. I really appreciate your advice on how the process works!!
Thanks Dom, I am glad you enjoyed it. The song just came to me without too much thinking about it, and it seemed to work. Really appreciate you checking it out. Hope you have a peaceful Christmas and a happy and healthy new year ahead!
Whoah - this is so ace. I liked the tempo and circularity of this song…the richness of the chord sequence etc. Also looks like you are doing a lot of stuck 3 and 4s (Just on that lesson myself)…this is really. great. I really enjoyed it, thank you!!!
Thanks so much Viv for the listen and the kind words. It’s quite a simple song but I am glad that it has been received so well. I use the stuck chords a lot as apart from the ease with chord changes, I just really like the full sound of the 4 finger G chord. Thanks again for checking the song out.
