I took a day trip to Los Angeles last Sunday. I started at the Queen Mary and made my way up to Hollywood. the other pics are Venice beach and Santa Monica. I felt the sudden urge to play that Sheryl crow song there…until the sun comes up in Santa Monica Blvd…or however it goes. I really wanted to make a music video up there somewhere, but a friend was driving and didn’t have room to haul my guitar in his little car lol.

Lol, for good or Xmas? You’re probably over it now as a visitor we loved it.

At this point, for good. I will be back home for Xmas, but will be traveling back to SEA (but not Singapore) for another couple of months after that. I’m officially back in the UK in April, although that is always subject to change.

I loved many aspects of my time in SG, and made a lot of friends, who I will miss.

Cheers,

Keith

I love watching a dog run through deep snow. I don’t see that much anymore.

The Minnesota drought is continuing into no snow. My outdoor world is just brown.

Emma, my dog, gets totally mad with the snow every time. She was behind me jumping around as I took the picture.
Jeff, you see the dogs running into the sea, I assume, not that bad, isn’t it? I loved the whole coast of California back in the eighties and nineties, when I visited California several times. Miss it a lot!

Yes you are correct. We have a dog beach out here dedicated for dogs to run and play along the shore and in the ocean.

Hey cayman my family is from Rio Rancho and have seen many pictures of the balloon festival. When I visit my mom I like to look for road runner birds.

This would be heaven on earth for Emma. She’s a black lab, born for the water and swimming!

Hi Jeff!
I live in ABQ but have lots of friends & coworkers from Rio Rancho. My wife & I love to ride our motorcycles out that way & cruise through Corrales or head out to Bernalillo in search of good places to munch! Not sure if you’re a beer guy but there are quite a few microbreweries with some world-class brews in the metro area here also!
Do you get to the Southwest very often?

By the way - we have a family of roadrunners living in the piñon tree next door. They are constantly running around with lizards, horned toads or mice in their mouths!!! They aren’t very afraid of humans or dogs either, they seem to know that we are too slow to catch them!!!
