Hello Nicole :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you for joining in here and caring about my problem, too.
Again, I’m overwhelmed by the kindness of people in this community :hugs:
Yes, I guess I can see how it works with the postings.
It surely is something I have to add to my practise schedule, just like chord changes and strumming

So it will be learning by doing for me, but again I have a good feeling that I’ve come to the right place :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks and greetings :lady_beetle:

Thanks! I’m usually on my iPhone, not really sure how to highlight text with that. I’ll try it when I’m on my laptop.:+1:

Not a lover of viewing the forum via my mobile but I think you have to press on the first word, which then gets highlighted with a couple of “cursor bars” either side. Drag the right hand cursor to the end of the text and I think it will show a copy/quote type option, which you can then paste into the reply. Trust me though I am no expert on Android or IOS and am happier sat in front of the PC. :sunglasses:

@sticktothemuse Toby’s explanation is next to perfect. Currently I only have an old laptop and the accu doesn’t work anymore and being too lazy to plug it in, I’m using my tablet and cell phone (Android but I guess it works the same iOS.)

So, just to add to Toby’s explanation, you can also press on a random word in a paragraph you would like to quote, then you can adjust your selection by dragging both the left hand and right hand cursors :slightly_smiling_face:
