Which does indicate that Justin, as he says, does not do the same thing every time, but it was only 2 days later that I saw the end of the lesson and you probably meant that part from 18:01… now I don’t know why I believe I think that if I play it a lot slower it is a bit clearer than what Justin does, but perhaps there is no extra distraction when I play it in isolation? I don’t know, but I hope that if you haven’t figured it out yet, I can serve you better with this…
And if you ask another question…pfff, I’ve been working on this song for 4 days 
and only put on the original yesterday…wow beautiful…

I think " the trick" here is to leave your pinky on when you go to the G bass so that the 3 strings that you pluck after it can go in one movement without moving your fingers
and wrong guitar but it for now oke

This is very helpful! I had done something similar and ended it with a bit of a walk up at the end of it. Your example adds a bit more notes in between what I had and I feel that it can use it.
Tom is pretty prolific, so there are tons of recordings of this and it seems that this little flourishy bit is really open to interpretation. I have noticed that Justin likes to push us fledglings out of the nest and make us think about stuff like this instead of spoon feeding us. I appreciate it but I am still an early beginner trying to take on more challenging songs to push myself. I feel like a kidergartner who is learning to put sentences together and has a limited knowledge of the rules. Yes, I need more lessons and to take the theory course for sure.
I agree that this is a lovely song. I am perfecting my singing and timing for Heart of Saturday Night (which is also beautiful and fun to play if you have not given it a spin) to post a video before I take some time after a surgury coming up next week.
I also love his song Time, maybe my favorite if his. It is on piano but would translate well to guitar. If Justin doesn’t transcribe it, I might be forced to try one day when my skills improve and I gain some patience. Tori Amos did a really wonderful cover of this one, btw.
There is something about really studying a song. It feels like you are really getting into the head of the writer, or whatever it was that was in their head is now in yours. Very cool and a little unnerving at times. It only makes me want to dive in further.

Absolute open for interpretation and that will be more and more but I understand that figuring things out via video is not an easy thing to do for everyone at the beginning of grade 3 and it sometimes surprises me how long it can take me to do something short before it goes well, which seems very easy looks like and if you can do it (duh) it’s really simple, sometimes you just need that one little push or what ever and then … OH YES that’s it…
I hope it goes well and you can sprint back in the saddle soon…lots of good luck

Hi People who take the time to visit it here, a small but also a very big update,
The preparations for The Justin Blues immersion are in full swing and I must say that I miss quite a bit of interaction with the people who have not registered and are only hanging out here in the open area, I had to swallow far too many jokes, I am happy There are also quite a few old hands present, but the whole vibe is different… oh well, I’m just an aging fool who just doesn’t like a lot of change… BUT the fact that the BLIM is there is really great for me …
And Mathieu @math07 To you I would like to say a special thank you 
for posting your joke/persuasion attempt with 666 number of members in the blim …
because of that large number I did not feel guilty to claim such a place with the expectation that I would not have do everything that I read in the introduction very well and then the Teacher would get angry at me…or even worse…disappointed in me
This is what I need now to focus seriously because I started to lose a little bit of grip on a larger area than just guitar, you have meant more than you could imagine (of course) but the thanks are no less to… 
So ,back where I came her for…I would like to share with you my first “Point Zero” (no, don’t reverse those two words

Funny detail is that I have done better improvisations, but as said before, now it can only be a little easier and better in 6 months (although I really did my best on this of course)…Haven’t done an impov with a backing track for too long…

Here I go, with due restraint, I am quite satisfied with some things… for example this is attempt 2 of 5 recordings (that is not much for me old members will know ) and I always have the same first 12 bars which is new to me in playing improv , the last notes …well that was wrong and that’s why I tried it a few more times, but in the end the factor that the cat did participate make me post this one (I saw her passing by and jump on the table and walk to the laptop and that gave a good distraction 
).
Oh well, and those other recordings weren’t really any better either…slightly fancier licks with 3 big oops in the middle…
I’m also happy with the call and response I put in , and the things that can improve slickness, flexibility and much more.
On this backing track I could not play 4 of my “petlicks”, but because this backing track is outside my comfort zone, I have learned quite a bit about myself already …Ps: sometimes the band plays out of my rhythm… amateurs
Below is a photo of how I record at the moment, with a very cheap telephone, the monitor speakers behind a large table… the amplifier in front of it on the floor reverberating into the kitchen I put a chair with a vest to make it sound a little less bad, and the laptop blocking sound from the left box (I only noticed now 
)… There is still a lot of quality to be gained here …before the end of the course I will finally have it done…

Goods to see you sharing your “line in the sand” before BLIM starts in anger. That 666 is now up to 748 including JS and the team, so no idea what the Blimmer count will amount to or how much the drop off rate will be (time will tell). You have a good platform to start from and I expect you to do well sir.
I’d agree there is a little bit of a parallel Universe situation between the BLIM area and the rest of the city but I am beginner to see folks dipping their toes over in these waters. All we can do is encourage them to do this on non BLIM related issues and queries, pointing them to the general categories. Hopefully they will catch on, hang around at the end of the course and become active engaged community members, like you good self.

I also see it happening slowly the integration, but because of the enormous number of newcomers you also see a different dynamic that is still a bit difficult for me to deal with, which is also very nice because it shows how busy it is here… It also feels warmer here because you have met in a more relaxed way people here than suddenly so many at the same time …
