my extra guitars came into my living space very very very early this year … ( and to think that many country and neighborhood residents have had a tree indoors for much longer…talk about crazier…but the smell is nice and it also looks cozy )
I completely agree that the C word should not be used or at least rally live before December…so…how what why in the world ,why this???
As so often happens, I can make a long story out of it, but it is that we signed up for this bio, eco-friendly tree and even the delivery was done in the least polluting manner possible… it was this or December 19… at Christmas it will probably be a bare tree.
I will leave the deeper Christmas wishes aside for a while (mmm… this is just a confession post ) , but ofcourse I hope that everyone will continue to roll a bit easy and good as possible through these dark days the way best as they can … how to keep your guitar at hand and also remember that it is “just a guitar” for when things don’t go so well with practicing and such…

Okay, this is a project and intended for myself and maybe someone will find it useful later (I really hope it become a project ), last week I heard this song ( wanted to start immediately but something suddenly came up - PF )
and I actually didn’t know or remember this song at all to my great shock…although the explanation makes it less bad I think but a bit too long to explain.
This style and the whole Rhythm lick thing is what I prefer to hear and see happen on my belly
But since I came across the Justin lesson from ONE -U2 a long time ago ( first month starting here I think) , I regularly try that one grip with the A and the thumb over it and that doesn’t work and while trying the finger also becomes more and more painful and that actually applies to all techniques that come close to that one.
I first wanted to set the video to private, but I also thought that was a bit lame, even if I won’t be able to show a super lick/riff piece of music soon ( or ever this one )… sometimes it’s just a bit disappointing…
I hope that this way exerts a positive pressure, although I don’t see how yet, but if it all becomes a bit too much for me but not too painful, then in a few weeks I will have some comparison material and I will also remember what I felt today…

No comments so now I can put this nicely here under the first one …
A strange thing is happening in my head with this first piece since last week…, even now typing without the radio on and continuing with every silence before, but in the extreme yesterday and today that I no longer hear anything but this tune when it is quiet in the area even through the thoughts that always continue… which is annoying if you keep making mistakes with guitar in hand and will continue to do so for a while, but in this form… When I started with John Mayer last week I first started with another song by him which at first I thought this was it … Possibly a much more complicated story but that is for later … I actually only knew him on stage with people like BB-King, Clapton and some of those greats.
Last week I asked my wife if I knew something about him and what exactly it was called “dancing in a darkroom ???” or something like that…???
Well this is day 2 and I’m not going to keep this going/doing every day…
And ‘Wish You Where Here’ is banging at the door and I have also taught myself some wrong things (or rather less nice things, let’s see if I can get that out in those few days after years of playing differently )
So day 2 of hard practice …the best days with the fastest progress are already over, I feel… now it’s time to gather bits and pieces

I’m now starting to get some seriously annoying traits… I have taught myself that intro part differently for so long, and now with that new lesson, Strum level 3 combined with my old one is exactly perfect together…uh SENSUUR… and I want that fire extinguisher ( got to wish for something ) so I’m sending something in what ever will come out of me before the 10e december as than I have a party in the evening .

Thanks for sharing that …How nice that Lee is doing a lesson about that, hopefully that will result in some more versions posted of this classic what Justin asked in the mail. Lee’s lessons that I quickly scanned earlier are just not intended for me… I know I’m complaining a bit about my playing and especially that I now mix the 2 versions a bit together, but my problem now is with the extra bass notes and a number of new ghost strums to be added… and I played this without a pick in recent years and now with those extra bass notes I don’t yet master the technique properly to do it with my thumb/index finger…
I’m still at the very beginning and can’t really judge that. You’re playing at a level where it simply doesn’t matter if you follow the lesson guidelines exactly. Just play your version, I’d love to hear your individual cover version, I’m sure it will sound interesting and be of high quality.
