Roger's rock on wheels

Haha, I also thought that fire extinguisher would be good to have when my wife again insists (like every year) on putting real candles on the tree. (Of course we always have something standing here in case of “oups”)

Oh, you forgot to invite me!
Is this the deadline too? I’ll check, I also want to take part even if my performance should not be as nice as the usual “postable” state.

Oh, Ableton? Is it the DAW of your choice? Whatever you choose, we can finally make a song together!

Hi Nicole @JokuMuu
Always better than never, nice that you are there and leave something behind … :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:Not every style of music is liked by everyone and even how shocking it sounds :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:, I am used to worse here in the house from what I cannot put on when she is at home :joy:

Thank you and that must be a percussive hits and sharper then I used to … but actually my focus is not on that yet … those oh so sweet hammerons and some for me crazy grips …

I can’t get into the right Christmas spirit for several reasons looking at a Christmas tree WHILE typing this :see_no_evil_monkey: …will certainly come through something that Dominique refers to…

Something with my family and believe me you don’t want to be around that anymore

:scream: … Yet I have a feeling of Déjà vu … you didn’t tell me this before … and I told you that things got out of hand in my mother’s parental home in the past…

There will be a spot on the table/musicroom here if you in the neibourhood :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

It came with my Focus ai thing, caused a computer to crash during installation and now it has been on this laptop for several years… but when I type it and think about it I want to drive away from the computer, but my super handy wife says that it is not that complicated and I should "just " start with her (she has already had a look and get sound out of it and say`s that it is simple but takes time ) so I will wait and some time to take :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

That day will come

Greetings you two ,and Nicole another 15 days and we have had the shortest day here and we are watching out for some more :sun:

It’s darker here. Believe me. No snow… Just darkness and rain. Not much fun. So, yes, some sun would be nice. Particulary today.

Hey you again :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Of course I know that… every year we talk about how it is so so so long and sometimes completely dark with you there and about the snow “with that girl from Finland” :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:(and in other countries), but you are compensated in the summer with extra light  in the end we all get (almost) the same amount of light… we can talk about rain ( sorry Sairfingers )/snow and temperatures :cold_face:for a while about “fair” distribution :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

… and about sun I am convinced that this is also true for in a figurative sense for this summer…

Greetings and :sun:

This is the real sun …but is a slightly strange photo moved a little from 3 weeks ago, but the sun looks extra special, and everyone can find their own feeling in this .

Just spent an evening and morning trying to find the right words and I’m glad I didn’t rush through that yesterday during those few minutes I had to type… (apparently the fiber optic cable box in my house had broken and that was a bit more extensive than we thought It should :grimacing: O well a very luxury problem ) because I learned something interesting about how to express myself , look at this compared to others and some other people I know with the same ( minor) brain problems in a good ( our normal) times when things are flowing good…

Still, finding the right words and sentences without saying too much ‘fixed’ is difficult, but for many people, what I have read who suffer from their too busy heads, these types of pictures that look far away are super calming and relaxing…the sea of space and tranquility.

But when I try to think back to some photographers and other artists and the comments of other people I know say or wrote or just read what strangers wrote and described their current situation,/feelings I realize very well that the experience/ feelings these types of images gave and give depend enormously on the personal situation you are in…

the 100% correct sentences I had this morning when I woke up but have not really stuck with me anymore, but I hope I don’t come across as too vague…

Which pretty much now means, good luck and find that open new door and so sorry if this is so out of context but I know you forgive me if :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:

Certainly ,but different for me :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
(
I don’t know half the lyrics :see_no_evil_monkey: )

Hi ,
Well, beyond all shame , anything for the fire extinguisher , this time I find it really difficult to find the sound of the electric guitar acceptable. Even my wife asked me to turn up all the high tones from the Equalizer pedal because otherwise the rhythm guitar sounds much too sharp and is really not good in our ears , so this is a compromise for us… of course a very important point that will be resolved and to practice with the pick for at least 3 hours every week.

This has been a great point zero for me ( it was the first time hearing me play this on video true good cans ,Of course I should have done it much sooner, I’ve been playing this for a long time…told myself so often :upside_down_face:)and I look forward to the sequel to finally get that rhythm guitar with a pick as smooth as cotton wool … or at least what I can do without a pick with mijn hands :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

And a nice moment to quickly remove that accoustasonic from the wall and put better strings on :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:

Greetings and I wish you where here soon to see me with the fire hose …

Sorry, but I’ve already reserved that one

I listened to your version and it sounds really, really good and you mastered the intro perfectly. I think you’ve really nailed the acoustic sound.

Well Withold ,If, against the will of the universe , it doesn’t go to me, I hope it goes to someone on this forum who we all knows :crossed_fingers: , and it is granted to you (see what I’m doing? I’m hugging Karma for a change :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:)… Although after Dominique’s story thinking back in my head (candles in the Christmas tree) that we should grant to his household

Well thank you very much for your nice words :grinning_face_with_big_eyes: , still really like the sound of an accoustic more , but i will be happy for now :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Hi Rachel @Libitina
Ha ha What are the chances after a day of not being here and that I am tapping away at the same time as you…

Yes, that is indeed a beautiful piece of music… :grinning_face_with_big_eyes: this now reminds me that I have not practiced it for months…
Finally Christmas is over, away from that music for a while, then hard rock and blues for a while and then back to Canon, hopefully

Greetings and hoping you have a great time :grinning_face_with_big_eyes: :sun:

Rogier, The first “It’s Only Love” was definitely rocking with a heavy dose of distorted crunch. I was impressed with the “Is There Anybody Out There?”\”. I can tell that you put in a lot of practice time on that song. The both sound good.

HI Rogier. I am very familiar with this song as it is on the john Meyer CD I have in my car (I am still so old fashion. ) You are making progress from day 1 to 2 and you are really getting the tone of the song. I am going to put this on my dreamer list to learn someday.

Hi Steve @SteveL_G99

Thanks for stopping by and your always super kind words… nice to read :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:

Well I would like to join you, I was quite shocked that when I bought a new (then 2.5 year old) car almost 2 years ago and discovered a week or so later that there was no CD player in it anymore… :scream: . Now I still have to download the YouTube music app on my wife’s phone  ( I have it on the phone but I don’t even have a connection outside my house walls, that is nice quiet  , but this is the only disadvantage, but silence is good for the mind I also noticed a few years ago and looking out the car window in relative silence also provides a nice experience.)

I hope to work on it again for a few days next week, thank you very much for your reminder comment :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Greetings
